As the first and only pediatric bridge hospital, Ranken Jordan bridges the gap between acute care and home for kids with even the most complex conditions, illnesses and injuries. Each year at the Gala, we share stories of our patients and are often joined by the patients and their families. This year we would like to put extra focus on our youngest patients and a new program that has been happening at our hospital, OZ. The Optimization Zone (OZ) is a play-based learning program for our 0-5 year old patients. This one-of-a-kind initiative aims to reduce the adverse developmental impacts that accompany long-term hospitalization. This year's Service Auction will be dedicated to raising crucial funds for OZ. This will kick off a 2 year fundraising drive to raise 2 million dollars in support of this amazing program.
